MatchMetrix Provider Registry

In a healthcare setting, a Provider can refer to a variety of roles, such as physicians, practitioners, residents, interns, service delivery locations, participating organizations and more. And for every application system, each role has a unique ID and a different set of criteria stored in its profile. In order to efficiently manage its operations, a health system must employ a uniform and consistent method to identify, cross-reference and locate all of its Provider roles.
Creates Universal ID and correlates data from disparate sources enabling a single view of information.
The MatchMetrix Provider Registry creates a comprehensive and trusted master registry of all information about Providers and the services they are authorized to deliver.  The registry maintains core demographic information, including license and credential status, relationships between entities and roles, and multiple work locations.  From this single registry, health professionals can quickly access contact information through a web browser, and IT applications can exchange data through an interface.

As the central repository of profile information, the Provider Registry facilitates communication across the health care enterprise. The improved accuracy and availability of data streamlines scheduling, billing, claims processing, and corporate messaging activities. Additionally, the Provider Registry is a core component enabling the implementation of a Health Information Exchange, public health research and analysis, and other community initiatives.

Built on the MatchMetrix MDM Platform, the MatchMetrix Provider Registry delivers features including (download datasheet):
